Paul’s coaching career started back in 1990 when he travelled over to Sydney, Australia, he worked there in one of the largest tennis centres. Back in the Uk, Paul started coaching at Wimbledon park, shortly after and worked coaching Merton’s top juniors. As a junior himself Paul was a regularly club champion at one of Hertfordshire’s top performance clubs. Coaching now takes up his time and is his great passion and Paul keeps up with the modern game and is always looking to develop his own game and coaching with new ideas. Paul loves coaching all ages; especially he says children who are in his words great fun to be around. Paul has also developed his own system for coaching toddlers, named tennis4toddlers.co.uk which is based on over 20 years of experience and international research. Paul has also developed londontennis.co.uk which is a greatly successful online club of adult players growing at over 17000 members. Paul also has a steadily growing tennis holiday business tennisbreaks.co.uk which is growing really well by word of mouth and has incredible repeat business.
Paul has worked with professional players, celebrities and top sports psychologist Dr. John F Murray providing workshops about the mental side of tennis, and has put on numerous corporate events for major corporations, including an annual corporate tennis challenge in London, details: corporatetennis.co.uk
On the coaching side Paul has coached top national juniors, and a top world ranked over 35 player on a regular basis and has also been a hitting partner to a few professional players over the years too.
Tyrone started coaching around the same time as Paul. He has coached at the Hurlingham Club and has been like Paul a regular at Wimbledon park for many years. Tyrone has vast experience and has played the game at a high level. During his career he has worked with a couple of professional players on the WTA tour.
