NEW DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS ARE NOW IN PLACE
The General Data Protection Regulation is a new, European-wide law that replaces the Data Protection Act 1998 in the UK. The main principles of data protection law will remain unchanged however GDPR places greater obligations on how organisations handle personal data. It came into effect on 25 May 2018 and is regulated in the UK by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
To clarify my position, I have never nor will I ever buy, sell or share data lists beyond using Mailchimp for mailings. Nor do I hold any financial information. They too, observe the new regulations and have published their privacy policy Your privacy is important to me and will be respected.
